she thought she fell in love. with him. a little bit. silly? yet it felt like she knew him all her life. like a dearest and oldest friend that sat under the moonlight. the kind you can tell anything to. even the worse, and they'll still love you. because they know you. real silly. she wanted to go. with him. she wanted him to see her. then he stopped walking. under those stars he stopped. he turned and look at them. looked at her. maybe he was trying to tell her something. silly thoughts. nobody knows. he probably didn't even notice her standing there. but she loved him. she'll always love him. all her life. at least once. yet love takes hostages. she was one of them. it got inside of her. it ate her out. left her crying in the darkness. so a simple phrase like "maybe we should just be friends" or "how very perceptive" turns into a glass splinter working its way into her heart. but she leaves it there because she thought no other would taste as bitter. sweet.
