they know that your room is really neat even though it's still utterly messy
they've eaten your mum's best dishes and always ask for more
your mum knows if they've grown taller, shorter, thinner or fatter
your mum knows whose missing from the gang
mahjong is always a loud affair
gambling with a minimum of 10cents is still damn bloody fun
they make conversation with your other friends
