it hit me. i've been sitting in spectator's rearview for too long. i need that fight i had seven years ago. albeit a non-existent fight against an existentialist bent on fighting nothing. the drive and urge, the need, the urgency. the complacency that has taken root, which needs weeding.

richard webber: the contest is a lion fight. so chin up, put your shoulders back, walk proud, strut a little, don't lick your wounds, celebrate them. the scars you bear are the sign of a competitor. you're in a lion fight, just because you didn't win, doesn't mean you don't know how to roar.
