eyes so bright filled with innocence
actions so pure running with no license
life so great no worries but for toys
with food and sleep and cuddles
no tests no grades nobody to distract
puppy dogs and burgers and they'll be glad
running in rounds throwing a tantrum
a hand to lead in this chaos of loud thumps
soft words to comfort with candies and kisses
they turn to scoldings and vulgarities
harsh cruelty and all things cacophanous
reality of backstabbings and lies so enormous
the heart weakens and turn a fragile glass
honey sweetens but lethal on the reverse
everyone is casted in grey clothes with a mannequin's face
the nakedness in the truth behind every showcase
