that place we once use to dwell
laughter i heard, gossip they tell.
early mornings and late into the night
where is my shining knight?
along that lane, the roads the vehicles roam
that picture we took-
left in memory lane washed in chrome.
the buses we took, you sent me home
past tense it will be, as i cry and moan.
gazing at that starlit sky
the kites we saw that flew so high
sounds of waves we listen, they speak
shapes of clouds formed, as we sleep.
